My name is Terry Apperson. I've been a hairstylist for 27 years. I started my career in Saint Augustine Florida in 1996. I then moved to Leesburg Georgia in 2010. Once I moved to Georgia I took a little break from hair for 2yrs. I returned to the industry in 2012. I built up my clientele and it was a mix of color/highlights and various techniques. Also I began to focus on barbaring. I became an educator for Johnny B Hair Care in 2017 and things were going great until 2020. The year Covid brought the world to it's knees and our industry was hit hard. I knew I had to do something different to make ends meet. So I quit the salon where I was a booth renter and ended up doing something crazy. I opened a hair salon during the pandemic! I started focusing more on hair extensions rather than barbering. And so far so good. It was a scary time but it was definitely the right decision. I love creating a completely new look using hair extension especially for someone who has experienced hair loss. And I want to continue my focus in that direction for the future. So when it comes to what I like doing outside of work I really enjoy spending time with family. Time is precious and you can't get it back. Making memories is what makes me happy. I don't have any hobbies but I am in this phase of my life where I'm wanting to travel more and seeking new experience. A couple little facts about me, before I became a hairdresser I was a dog groomer and a cake decorator. And when I took those 2yrs off from hair I sold frames for eye glasses.
