Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Sabra Clark owns Straight to the Cut Barbershop. Her career in the industry started when she was just three years old when her dad styled her hair to go to a parade. After getting a comb tangled in her bangs, she cut them off and was hooked ever since. She received her Cosmetology license in 2007 and her Barber license in 2017. Accolades include being the Creator/Founder of the SoCal Lady Barber Expo, Andis Global Educator, Lead Barber Educator for Bellus Academy from 2021-2022, and a six-time award-winning competitive barber. Sabra hopes to start a non-profit organization to empower women and femme people within the barber industry. She strives to provide a safe space for all people to not only feel beautiful while in her chair, but to develop hair and beauty professional’s craft so they can become the best they can be.
